  Math expressions are composed of terms . Terms are numbers and variables grouped together with multiplication and division (such as  $\begin{array}{r}5x\end{array}$  or  $\begin{array}{r}\frac{13}{m}).\end{array}$  Even a standalone numbers or variables are terms (such as 7 or  $\begin{array}{r}z).\end{array}$
