How's it going math scholars? In today's topic we're going to talk about patterns and time, different time patterns. And if you focus your attention real quickly on this section right here you'll see that I have a basic pattern set out for you. This is 915, 925, 935, 945, 955 and a blank slot for our next time that we should put in there. And we're going to learn how to find that next time and how to find the pattern that exists between all these different times. Now some of you guys might be already noticing hey there's a 1, 5, 2, 5, 3, 5, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5 in the 10s column, 10s unit place of the minutes. So I wouldn't suggest that it's probably 10 minutes right that the difference between in this 10 minutes. But some of you guys were a little bit more skeptical and very much want to inquire into really if this is the truth, we'll want some mathematical proof and I'm going to offer you some proof. So we're going to find the difference. So I'm going to think about real quickly, what is the difference between 915 and 925? And I see that that difference is 10 minutes. And what's the difference between 925 and 935? And difference once again is 10 minutes. 935 and 945 is another 10 minutes. So the difference between all these five different time points is 10 minutes. Make sure that you're finding the time difference between each of these two. Sometimes it's easy to do this one and then forget about it and then do this one because you're thinking, oh I already covered 925 but you can't forget about this gap. So we see that the difference is 10 minutes, which means that the difference between our mystery one here and 955 should also be 10 minutes. So some of you guys are probably thinking, I'll just add 10 minutes. And I'm going to add 10 minutes. And after I write this, you're probably thinking something is a little fishy here. Something is a little bit wrong. I added 10 minutes, right? One from 5, 55 to 65. Well, I did do something wrong. I did it on purpose. It's probably because, and you know I did something wrong, probably because you're just geniuses at time already. But you'll notice that 65 minutes and hour is only 60 minutes. How do I have 65 minutes? Which means that when I add 10 minutes, 60 of these minutes, 60 out of these 65 can turn into another hour, which I can add to the 9. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I've added an hour to my 9, so it's now 10 o'clock. And if I take 60 away from here and add it, what how many minutes do I have left? I have exactly five minutes left. And now I'm at 10-0-5. So those should be all the skills that you need. Remember, the key here is to find the difference between each two numbers that are side by side. And try to figure out if that's the same pattern that you see between all the other two numbers that are together. And if you can conclude that that's the same pattern, then you can find any blank, any question mark that is not you. Good luck!
