  • In this lesson, you'll use the image, "16_RedEyes.jpg." Before continuing, click on the Resources tab and download the image.

    When you shoot an image of people (or animals) with a flash, the eyes can appear red. To fix this, you can use the Red Eye Reduction tool.

    Open the image “16_RedEyes.jpg” in Pixlr Editor. Both people have red eyes caused by the flash.

    Click on the Red Eye Reduction tool in the Tools panel.

    Move the tool over the eye of one of the people. The cursor becomes a +.

    1. Click on one of the eyes to remove the red color.

    2. Repeat to fix the other eye and both eyes of the second person.
