    Be sure to wear a clean outfit/uniform each day.

    Wear your name badge at all times

    Wear comfortable low-heeled shoes.

    Wear only a wedding band and a watch with a second hand. Don't wear dangling earrings or bracelets.

    Do not wear a lot of makeup. Do not wear perfume, cologne, or after-shave lotion.

    Maintain proper daily hygiene and keep your fingernails short.

    Do not wear dark-lens eyeglasses. It is important for the client to be able to see your eyes.

    Listen carefully to the client.

    Always explain what you are going to do before doing it.

    Be sure to wash your hands before and after each procedure.

    Speak politely to the client. Call the client "Mr.," "Mrs.", "Ms.," or "Miss," followed by the client's last name.

    Accept criticism without getting upset.

    Ask questions when you do not understand something.

    Document and report any changes in your client's behavior or anything that keeps you from completing your assignment.

    Never curse or use profanity even if the client does.
