    Describe cleanliness and food preparation.

    • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before handling any food

    • Be sure to keep your fingernails short and clean

    • Cover all skin abrasions and wear disposable gloves if possible.

    Store Food Properly

    • Perishable foods should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature below 40°F.

    • Use airtight containers to store leftovers.

    • Store raw and cooked foods in separate containers.
