    School clubs and teams sometimes use food trucks to raise money. School groups usually get 10% of the total amount of money made by the  food truck. In the interactive below, use a tape diagram to find the amount of money a school group raises from 10% of the profits from a food truck fundraiser.

    Sleeping baby

    There are two kinds of sleep: REM sleep and non-REM sleep. REM stands for rapid eye movements. During REM sleep you have vivid dreams and your eyes dart back and forth under your eyelids as if you are watching the events in your dream. You can learn more about  REM in this CK-12 lesson about .

    Kids need between 9 to 11 hours of sleep in a night (540 to 660 minutes).  Kids spend about 20% of their sleep time in REM. Infants need between 11 to 14 hours of sleep in a night (660 to 840 minutes) and they spend about 50% of their sleep time in REM.
